Remember me for one who was there

A vision of yesteryear

Painted in sunlight too bright

I need to sit and read a while

Press rewind on the heat of the day

Put the beemer in reverse

And let my mind replay

The thoughts that trouble and inspire

It’s all here

In a new vision of time and lyre

The republics here but it’s all going south

We’ll all end up washed out

Bleeding out from the river mouth
