OVERVIEW

  • Lead vehicle architecture and integration of all mechanical components for an all new Level 3 autonomous fully electric SUV, the BYTON M-BYTE.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Cross functional design and integration leadership for Vehicle Integration across EU, NA & CN design, engineering & manufacturing teams.

  • Advanced vehicle concept design & analysis including ergonomics studies & user testing.

  • Package and component design & analysis (CATIA) across all vehicle engineering disciplines.

  • Program Management including reporting and presentation of business case and engineering feasibility studies with strong technical analysis delivered with excellent communication skills.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Led $450 million+ cost reduction involving significant power train component changes. Demonstrated leadership ability and cross functional leadership skills to implement changes from feasibility stage to final completion.

  • Led cross functional design reviews to successfully resolve multiple complex mechanical packaging and integration problems.

  • Led root cause analysis of complex cross functional product integration problems.

  • Led international engineering teams through plant-licensing design audit activities.

  • Led clash and clearance check Digital Mock-Up (DMU) activities and led resolution of part integration issues.

  • Led Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process development for efficient data management in a startup environment.

  • Led projects to timely resolution leveraging Jira and Confluence project management tools.
